Syrian army establishes control over Aleppo’s Deir Hafer

ALEPPO, Mar. 30 (MNA) – Syrian army units continued operations in the eastern countryside of Aleppo and established control over Deir Hafer city and 27 towns and villages in its surrounding and secured 24 km of Aleppo-Raqqa international highway, according to a military source.

The source added that hundreds of ISIL terrorists were killed, many others were injured and tens of different types of vehicles were destroyed due to the army’s operations in the area.

The source pointed out that the city of Deir Hafer is the first and most important stronghold for ISIL in Syria.

The villages and the towns that were restored are: Jafiret Mansour Manbij, Jafiret Abu Salah, Um Adassa, Akoulet Deir Hafer, al-Kabbariyeh, al-Ahmadiyeh, al-Kamiliyeh, Tal al-Sous, Um Tina, Rassm al-Faleh, Abu Maqbara Kabir, Abu Maqbara Saghir, Rassm al-Jissi, Jafiret Ghazal, Rassm al-Khamis al-Gharbi, Rasm al-Khamis al-Sharqi, Keissouma, Qaissoum, Jub Madi, Silos of Jub Madi, al-Zakiyeh, Tal al-Mahdoum, Sharifa, Kharaej Daham and Tal al-Qamqoum.
